  I recently visited Siam Twist and had an extremely disappointing experience. The owner's behaviour towards both customers and staff was completely unacceptable.
  
  From the moment I entered, the owner acted strangely and made it clear that he had little understanding of coffee. He even mentioned not wanting customers to provide too many instructions for their coffee orders, which is surprising and furthermore, it is disheartening to witness the owner blaming every customer and responding with hostility. This behaviour creates an unwelcoming environment and indicates a lack of professionalism. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of any issues that may arise
  
  During my visit, the owner's behaviour escalated when I received the wrong size of coffee after paying for a large one. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he tried to shift the blame onto me, claiming that I should be grateful.
  
  I believe it's important for businesses to provide a welcoming and customer-focused environment, and unfortunately, Siam Twist falls short in this regard. I would strongly caution anyone considering a visit to this establishment.
  
  Note to the Owner:
  
  If you are unable to handle criticism and provide proper customer service, perhaps it's time to reconsider and the low rating of this establishment is a reflection of issues.

  Wow! Hands down the best coffee in a Canberra. Smooth, velvety perfection with a range of milks available. Friendly owner who knows good food and coffee. I love that you can get coffee from morning to evening (most days) and that a lovely Thai menu is available. Great breakfast and lunch specials available.

  Great little restaurant.
  
  Clean and well kept toilets.
  
  Comfortable.
  
  Near a well stocked bottle shop at the Local IGA.
  
  Not only serves Thai but also European pastries.
  
  The staff are warm, friendly and helpful.
  
  It has a nice atmosphere.
  
  I would recommend it to everyone.

  Greeted by a very warm and friendly host with a huge smile and sparkly eyes. This creates a great start to the meal experience. Menu is extensive and interesting, promising tantalising flavours and mouthwatering experiences. Dishes served on this occasion looked great however didn't provide the crunch and freshness that matched the appearance. Rice had a day old texture to it. Flavours were still ok but let down by the lack of freshness. Perhaps it was due to the restaurant being closed for the following week due to summer holidays. Might need another visit to see if this was a on off disappointing experience.

  $25 for congealed prawn pad thai… I can’t even really comment on the flavour as it was watery. Maybe the noodles were soaked too long but it would be such a simple, quick effort to correct that its unacceptable to serve at that price point. Half the box was inedible and there wasn’t much in the way of tofu, peanuts or bean sprouts either. 5 prawns at least?

  Good food for the price, portion sizes aren't huge, but the value for money is there in that it isn't too expensive. Service is friendly and the wait staff are attentive. Coffee is pretty good too, overall a solid choice for a bite to eat.
